The bee, furry and hard working. Bees are a source of fascination, to me and to other artists, poets and writers. Diving into this topic it becomes clear why: Bees symbolise hard work, discipline, and cooperation, representing the balance between individual and collective purpose. Bees are vital pollinators representing the interconnectedness of ecosystems. Worker bees give their lives for the hive, representing themes of selflessness and service. They produce honey, but can also sting—a duality rich with meaning.
